The Execution Site isn't that bad for an archer, actually. The trick is taking Gaff out quickly, outrunning Knights (who hopefully don't have battle boots) and accumulating speed from weak archer hits. My attempt at an Archer SSCC several years ago ended somewhere in Chapter 4.

The Execution Site was a fucking bitch for solo Thief, though. Beating it was the single greatest accomplishment I ever made in any FFT Challenge I've ever attempted. That challenge ended for me in Chapter 3, at Izlude.

My solo Thiediator (TDD variation on an SSCC) ended at Limberry.

Many solo challenges end at Limberry, for most people.

Archael - that zodiac sign really, truly, could end up being your downfall at Limberry. I saw some comments on the GF topic about how it MIGHT allow you to redirect (and survive) 2 Ultima spells onto Elmdor, but it's going to be a looooong shot. Your affinity with Elmdor is so very very very crucial in any SSCC.

You better bring something immune to blood suck... Otherwise, I'm not sure the battle will end.

Actually, you get the Game Over screen when "everyone in your party" is inflicted with Blood Suck, so the battle does end.

You do need protection, though, definitely.

Elmdor and his Assassins will be tough due to needing to prevent Stop, Petrify, Dead AND Blood Suck. Not to mention the difficulty of them as they are.

I don't think I will be cancelling KO in that fight

but Stop and Blood Suck? yes

Remember they don't use their Petrify skill in vanilla, that's in 1.3

Ah, yes. I keep forgetting things that don't carry over to both versions.

It's still a pain in the ass though, because so many things can end it for you

letting an Assassin get next to you = KO

not equipping 108 Gems = KO

Not equipping Black Costume = KO

Not Speed Saving everything = KO

Missing 30% Shots vs Blade grasp = reset

and so on

but once he goes into critical it's over

I doubt it will be the hardest fight in the challenge, 30% isn't that low

then again I have worst compat vs him, so it'll take many hits, and absolutely need Assassins to hit me AND Elmdor with Ultimas

Speed Save will make that easier to do, but still
