I think BTB and Syn don't want to mess with speed at all, now. It's quite balanced: All CTB does is remove any/all delays you would have made deciding what to do...if we were to mess with the speed values, the whole thing would become wonky as shit.
On a side note, I haven't tried CTB yet; been very busy and had no real time for games lately. I'm going to delve back into 1.7.4 (nATB) and finish my run, then I'll try the CTB patch
