I think the best way to describe this is the following...

..."Anima, are you INSANE?!?"

Yes, yes I am insane, thanks for asking. However, I wouldn't go as far as to call this a pure hardtype. More like a rebalance so characters aren't weak as sin and grinding is easier to do.

Anyways, the journey begins as Lejes starts his quest for "POWER!" by booting a spirit out of a castle, then dealing with a bounty hunter on his way through a cave (and an asshole mimic that almost one shotted my ass, yay!).

Tonight's videos have Lejes picking up an ally to help him out on his quest for power, then visiting a cave leading to the ruins of a lost city and an encounter with a familiar foe.

Note to self: Don't ever record this game while half asleep. I almost game over'd to a boss as a result because I'm a dumbass who forgot to get Protect Bottles so a certain someone wouldn't get his ass one shotted by the boss's physical.

Today's videos add another two runes to powerhouse badass duo Lejes & Kamil's pile. One of those runes is the Star Rune of Patrof, held by Wilme.

...Wait, the same dumbass that doesn't know how to buff his defense and STILL doesn't do that? Goddamn dude the Star Rune does JUST THAT.

Lejes happily one shots Wilme's inept ass once again with a buffed defend-attack as punishment. Goodbye you silly alien!

Tonight's videos take the resident badass duo to the town of Bone where they get a random device that'll let them into a secret room in a nearby cave, but decide to explore a tower first for some loot thanks to a generous dwarf's help in getting a key to enter said tower.

After that little sidetrack, the duo gets to the northern continent and basically beelines it for the town of Pang where the dwarf's help will need to be called on once again, necessitating Kamil's exit from the team for awhile. He'll be back later on folks...and oh so much more powerful when he does, heh.

Tonight's videos have Olvan joining Lejes once again, this time helping him in battle as they do some exploring of towns, a hidden cave full of jewels, and another cave leading to where the Sky Rune is, but Lux found it funny to steal the Sky Rune.

I believe nobody fucks with Lejes, hence he tracks down Lux and kicks his shiny metal robot ass so hard (one shotted with a buffed defend-attack, heh).

I've been told it's possible to get to the Sky Rune in time to not have someone else jack it from you, but I'm not sure if that's all a bunch of baloney. Several guides mention it, but it seems speculative. How would the game even track whether you got there "in time?"

I remember reading something saying that, even speedrunning like a madman to the Sky Rune, it was still stolen. Don't think I've ever seen it not stolen in any of the times I've played this game.

Regardless, here's a pair of videos where another rune is procured and Doros felt like going into "dodge fucking everything" mode for a good minute or so.

Today's videos add another rune to the pile before taking a flying contraption of failure to the western continent in search of the final rune.

Oh yes, magic gets sealed by some jackass on the western continent. Looks like Lejes needs to make a call to his old war buddy for some good 'ol revenge seeking!
