It seems that 'Terrorism' is the new McCarthyism aka 'Communism'.
If people don't know their history, please just search for McCarthy Communist Trials and go from there. And read a damn book for a change. Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it, etc.
So whenever I see someone on mainstream media (mis)using the word 'terrorist', I think of this scene from Chrono Trigger. Ahead of the time by at least 6 years, go figure. Also a nice commentary on the current terrible (in)justice system that the USA has to deal with right now.
I fucking love Chrono Trigger ^_^

This thread didn't make a lot of sense to me, because I have never played CT. Care to make an actual post?

I'll make the serious guy here. Terrorist is used only to identify a certain group of people these day. Anyone committing murder on a big scale in the name of a religious or politic agenda is also terrorist by definition (e.g. Timothy McVeigh, KKK, etc...). Any government that do counter-terrorist is also a terrorist state, because it use similar means to achieve similar ends than the terrorists.
On star wars, obviously the rebel are terrorist in the eyes of the empire and in the Empire newspapers. It doesn't however justify shit papers like this one. With sentences like "Palpatine is a dictator--but a relatively benign one", stuff like that is only revisionist literature that justify the action of modern states. Another fun read was this, I'm still not certain if it's a troll article or not. As an example, they underline Luke's use of violence to achieve his goals, but never mention the Empire used the same violence probably in the first place.
