Got to the shop in ACDC 2 and encountered this:
Unfortunately, the shop in ACDC Square is doing the same thing.

The low prices on the shops are not a bug in this case - it's a different approach than in the original, where I try to make the change less grindy. But don't hesitate to ask/report of you feel the process aren't right! I appreciate it!!

Yea in the original, the easiest two first program advances i go for are lifesword and hi cannon. First thing i noticed when swordy was there was that lifesword was possible almost immediately

Ah, see I thought that you were setting each HPMemory to 6k, which is what you had written down in the shop update thread.

I am against an idea like that, after running through the first boss area so far, having a set price for hp memories(especially one that high for an early game) being limited to the hp memories you are able to find would be rather brutal, I did flashman with 140 hp max(one shop boost+ hp memory up in pc) and he still killed me once.

Don't worry, I have no intentions in raising the prices. It's in my scope for the player to decide whether to upgrade their chips, subchips, and/or their upgrades (if you want to farm Zenny, you can upgrade the three, but it's not designed after that course of action). The prices for the HP Memories in the shop thread are most likely the vanilla values, which I must have changed after the creation of the thread. I apologyze for that. I'll be updating that thread as soon as I can.
How did you find the rest of Day 1 so far? (And Day 2 if you've completed it already)
Edit to add: However, I will raise the shop prices accordingly if I find that they are too low (meaning, that you can upgrade everything and still have spare Zenny with no grinding whatsoever).

I'm taking a grinding approach this playthrough as I want to see and get a feel for all the chip changes and enemy changes.
EDIT: Ugh, Yo-Yo E seems significantly harder to get for some reason. I have 6 Gs, 4 Fs, and 1 E. This might take a while for me to get the 2nd one which is all I wanted lol.

I have beaten flashman but i believe his stun thing is used too often when hes low life, if it hits you he attacks with an undodgeable, and it feels like he does this every other attack which is bad if you don't have anything to destroy them with before they go off

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you should be able to kill the pillars with 3 basic shots now. I've been able to destroy them before they go off without any chips, just requires some quick maneuvers to move right next to them.

So! I wanted to ask about something that's very important for the development...
For those who have played the beta I sent, what did you think about the shop prices? Were you able to buy everything, nothing? I really need feeback about that, because any changes on the shops require a New Game, so I don't want to make a New Game change more than once.

I did have to do a more then normal numbers of back outs to refill hp in the opening preliminarys on day 1, and got some lucky 2000 gmd's, several times, so that Might've accounted for it. Someone making fewer trips then I did, or not getting as lucky would've had to more accurately choose between what was offered. given more cash, I definitely could've improved my folder more (lose the j codes, replace with the b or d code bubblers and heatshots, for instance.)
Access to grassstg certainly offers a potential different build I didn't go for, so you're not locking into single build type runs (and between heatshots and magnums, you ought to be able to build a decent amount of fire support, if you go that route.) I shudder to think what schip selection will be like for bubbleman though...
As for difficulty, I think you went overboard on a few combos early, especially those with fans. I didn't have many problemsafter getting some hpmems under my belt, but those early poirtions were a cast iron pain. Not much you can do about that though, honestly. And you obviously OBVIOUSLY need to nerf the mushrooms speed. That's just brutally unfair. Either you draw a sword/wwidesword, and have a barrirer, on the same turn, on turn 1, or you don't get it to die without insane luck, and taking multiple hits. It's just... brutal. Most of the other enemies seem more then fair. (though buffing gutsmanV2 might be in order on the table. Then again, it's gutsman, he's supposed to be a punching bag.)

I'll be releasing the beta version you guys are testing on Friday, to give you guys more time to test it. It will include some nerfs on the AI, so far on: Beetle, Brushman, Mushy, Momogra, and I may be forgetting another one. As I said, I'm interested in seeing what you guys think about the prices so far.
Also!! There's gonna be a new test version coming up soon!! Next week probably, can't tell exactly when. It will include Day 3, 4 and 5 (!), which would be aaall the way up to the battle against BubbleMan (because everyone loves BubbleMan, right? <.<). Unless I change something to the shops (which would be minor, so there's not a 100% need to update them), the new test version will not require a New Game, so you guys get to continue your save from the curent test version!
For those who want to sign up and try the new content before the rest, you're always invited!! Stop by the thread linked!

Sounds like you "Love" bubbleman just as much as i do.
Seriously though i hate that prick, hes the most annoying character in the game, and one of the worst boss battles in the original even if his chip is really good
