Insane Difficulty: EPSXE help - Insane Difficulty

Hello, this is my first post on this forum. Let me start off by saying that I know you must get hundreds of people a day stating this exact same thing, that they need help. And although I know that, I still find myself doing this in the hope of getting FFT 1.3 running. I can understand if you dismiss this at first sight because of the subject, I know it must be tiring seeing it all the time. But I would like your help. I've looked at the insane difficulty forums and haven't been able to figure out what's wrong with my epsxe. I'm using a soft video plugin because i'm not sure if my 2007 dell laptop has a good video card or not(although I'm sure it's the later). I've configured all the BIOS and all of the plugins to settings I think would be good and I've gotten a patched ISO of FFT 1.3. I've taken care of the zldub.whatever thing. I don't know why, but whenever I try to run the ISO, the window for it pops up, and then immediately after it pops up, another pops up saying, "epsxe.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". I have no clue what to do. I've looked all over the net, namely google, and haven't found anything. I'm sorry if I bothered you with this, but if you've read to this point, thank you. I would like a reply, but I can't force you to reply.

I've never experienced that before. My suggestion is to try different video plugins until something works. If you don't know if your card can handle a hard video plugin, try it and find out. You got nothing to lose.

Could you type in dxdiag into your windows start button search bar, and tell me what your graphics card is(should be under the tab "display")?

By Name: there is nothing, same with driver, does that mean I don't have one, or it's not working. I though tit must have one because i ran epsxe on this computer a long time ago and it worked then, but then it stopped working, so I stopped using it. This probably makes a difference so I thought it'd be good to know: not to long ago my laptop crashed and I had to system restore it. If that has anything to do with it let me know. But if I'm just a big dummy and don't have a graphics card, well I'm sorry for wasting your time. =D

Its a 2007 dell, so that's exactly what I thought. If I got it working I think it would run fine, but I can't get it working.

Ffffffffff okay, I wasn't expecting that. Which plugin for epsxe are you using currently?

Anyways, does this happen to the unpatched version or just the patched version? Have you tried running other games?
