I also see that patching BNW to Clean New World doesn't change the label in the config menu at all... we actually have the space to fully change it to say "Clean New World" now. Something to possibly look at whenever we do another update.

(Also, the "Brave New World 1.8.2" looks a bit off-center... feels like it should all be biased one space to the left.)

From what I can tell, there are two available spaces to the right of the version number and three to the left. It's going to look off-center regardless.

D sent me another fix for the config screen, so I'll put out another version at some point today.

Yeah, it's off-center either way because of that. I just figure it would look better if biased to the left.

BTB, didn't you mention that adding "v" ie "Brave New World v1.8.2" would even it out? Gotta have that symmetry.

Hey all! New to this mod and it looks great, can't wait to try it out. Did the overflow bug in the first few pages of this thread get fixed, or is it certain that it won't affect anything in a normal play through?

Which overflow bug? The vigor bug was fixed in 1.8 proper; the Omega Weapon overflow requires such a high amount of stamina/level that a player is highly unlikely to ever see it.

So, I'm hearing that 1.8.2 (and presumably also 1.8.3) broke the esper bonuses, so once again I will redirect everyone to 1.8.0 until we can get things sorted out.

I've verified when the Omega Weapon bug happens - it's when current HP * 'normal' attack damage / 256 > 131072. So if you're hitting around 9999, about 3200 HP will cause the overflow. Solution - don't do that until it's patched.

So, I just started playing 1.8.0 (I played 1.6.(4?) before) and I just beat the waterfall fishes. What exactly was the issue with them not being flagged as a boss? Why does that matter? They still did the whole pretty fade-red-when-dying thing.
