As you are all aware The Witcher 3 is out and with that a wanted to replay the trilogy to understand the story little better and be ready for witcher 3 with new save files since my old ones got deleted.
Now since the games were too easy and since i've already played them once i figured i'd need a challenge and thats how i found mods for witcher from nexusmods.com.
They've made some greate mods for tw1 and 2( dont know about 3 yet havent played it yet).
For tw1 the best one is FCR - Full Combat Rebalance (http://www.nexusmods...cher/mods/237/?), u can check the link for more info.
For the witcher 2 there's 2 mods Better Combat (BC) and Complete Equipment Overhaul (CEO), there's FCR2 aswell but i dont recommend it mod makes you auto riposte and all kinds of nosence and my game bugged out aswell with that so yea, u can try it if u want maybe u'll like it better.
Better Combat - http://www.nexusmods...her2/mods/294/?
CEO - http://www.nexusmods...cher2/mods/89/?
FCR2 (just in case anyone is interested) - http://www.nexusmods...her2/mods/635/?
This mods add a lot more depth and challenge to the game by balancing out items, armor, weapons and skills.
For BC there's 2 mods normal and Hard Core (my favorite).
Now finally for the Real Challenge using thise 2 mods finish the game with insane difficulty which is built in to the game and u get a achivement for it in steam aswell.
In that difficulty your on the highest difficulty setting which is Dark and the game will be over once you die.
And since its hard by itself with out the mods, the mods add more challenge and difficulty.
I havent started the challenge yet cuz im running through the game on dark with mods so i'll know what to except and so far its been fun, some fights even take few hourds to beat so yea..
Let me know what you all think about it.
Sorry for the long post
One more thing once i'll start the Real Challenge i'm going to stream it so looking forward for that!
Peace,
i'm out
