1.0.4.0 was announced almost one year ago, no news from it, did the developer quit?

The developer is swamped with work + school, and has been for a while.

I have been working on it lately, actually. Can't promise a release soon but hopefully it will be in the near future.

I haven't done a modding project myself, but I can only imagine the logistical hell of working on it with people unless you completely trust in their decision-making, technical, and documentation skills.

Another thing, most of the people who have plenty of time would rather work on their own projects than to volunteer for someone else's. Most non-modders underestimate the amount of time it takes for a project like this by at least 1000x. I have plenty of time for my own project due to not being in school and not having a stressful job, and I'm still working on it almost a year later. Someone who is in school or has something else sucking up all their time isn't going to be working on their projects nonstop like I have been.
