This means that work can begin on adjusting the PvP and Coop rendezvous for future updates of this and other versions of WOTL. Obviously as of right now, I figure most of us haven't even seen that part of the game because you can't access it without another PSP user in your immediate area, so there;s no telling what could be going on out there, but I'm excited about the possibilities!
If anyone with more knowledge of how to get this kind of thing up and running wants to try it out (I just do what I'm told), you can find a little bit of info (including a link to the admin version of PPSSPP) on the last page of this thread on the PPSSPP forums: http://forums.ppsspp...id=1141&page=32

Is kyozo attempting to include multiplayer content on ToF? He might want to use the multiplayer space to add more items that would help balance the single player story. If multiplayer content and balance is not within his plans, then this thread should be moved to the General Discussion / Development Discussion forums, for obvious reasons.

However, I've been toying around with it all again. I would like to polish the turd I left behind and will definitely be keeping an eye on multiplayer after getting a chance to see what it's all about. Whatever we learn from tht experience could maybe to added to his version in the future, or at least we'd know what pitfalls to avoid.

Note that this FAQ was written before the EU/ US versions of the game were released, so names and terms used were loosely translated from the original Japanese text.

It's actually not too terribly hard to set up. All you need is Hamachi to fake the LAN, pop in the IP and play. I tried to take a screenshot but I messed it up. If I can convince Mari to try again or get any volunteers, I will get a SS out next time. I'm in chapter 1 and I got a blood sword for my victory! But then my sister's cat ran on the keyboard and crashed the game before I could save.

Yay, go cat! Serves you right, you fucking cheater.
Nah, really, that's awesome that it works, but yeah... the random nature of the rewards is a problem.
I think it may be partially level based, which is... something.
To clarify on the post I made above, I was always gonna bank on netplay being available and used by those who wished to, but given that I used most/ all of the multiplayer item effect 'slots' for the zodiac equipment I'm gonna have to think a bit more.

I do still want to get this up and going just to record some samples. I did get the recording software set up. I tested it on a new game, intro and first battle but my internet connection couldn't handle the upload. I should probably drop the quality down or at least convert it to mp4 because 20 minutes at 1600x900 was something like 3 and a half gigs.
Kyozo, best way to get me up and running is to shoot me a pm. It'll send me an email notification. If I can get on, I will. Its gonna be hit or miss. I just started a full time Monday through Friday job that cuts out week days and late nights. Weekends, I'm almost always out, especially right now in a prolonged moving situation.

You're not supposed to upload raw video to Youtube; that's insanity. You gotta encode it first, which cuts the file size down to anywhere from like 20 megs to about 150 megs, pending video length and quality.

...And then I thought of a remake of FFT with custom animations. I didn't giggle anymore .
