Awesome Hack.It is always better to play a custom hard mode rather than a built-in one (refering to battle network 2)

Also ,I don't know if this is the right place, but in Dex's HP there's a battle with 2 quakers where only one attacks and the other never moves until the 1st one is defeated.Is it something wrong with the AI?

Yes, the quakers have that weird bug with the AI, it comes from the original. It will be changed in the next version, including day 2, which I'll be releasing today. Thanks for the report, and don't hesitate to mention these things, it only helps me improve the mod!!

Update: v0.2.2 released!

Day two released, but this time with customized chip damage, battle formations, battle layouts and enemies HP! From now on, the updates will all include these features, leaving only the mistery data and shots editing for later!

I've finally found the offsets I've been looking for hours - Those which determine the escape rate for each individual battle. Expect a quick version update tomorrow - I had all of those planned in my mind, I just needed to know how to change them. Thank god the code in this game is pretty damn clean overall.

Update: v.0.3.0 released!

This release is unlike the others, in which I redesign the whole game up to the second prelim *again*. The problem with the last version was that the planification was non-existant, so what would have happened is that I would have got to the mid-late game with no more content to add.

So, I'm making things a lot cleaner now. I'm swamped by spreadsheets where I plan which enemies get presented in which area. I made calculations on how many of them should be presented to the player on which part of the game, so as to have a somewhat pronounced difficulty curve only at the mid-game.

I've also taken the tedious, yet rewarding work of documenting every single chip in the game, allowing me to modify every single one of them in terms of damage. Same thing happened with the enemies' HP.

The AI of each of the presented viruses in the days presented were tested thoroughly. You'll be able to even see viruses that were in the Undernet (!) before, but with the customized AI / formations (and knowledge about the game), I've been able to add them easily and make them an interesting, yet forgiving challenge for the player in the early game.

You'll get a surprise when the UnderNet gets released. I've planned it slowly and surely to make it include *only* Tier 3 viruses in it. IF you've been reading the news, there's 4 tiers of monsters: regular, alpha, beta, and omega (tier 1, 2, 3, 4). Tier 1 and 2 are designed to be friendly towards the new players, where as the AI takes a little jump towards tier 3, and tier 4 is a subsequent tier of it. This is true for Navis as well. So if you think you're confortable battling GutsMan, for instance, just be careful when battling him in this Beta version.

The Alpha version of the Navis give their respective chip regardless of the rank you get, so I don't mind about them being strong on their own. The Omega version, however, is only meant to be accessible throughout a code, input in the New Game screen after you get most of the post-game content done. So they will be one of the ultimate challenges in the game.

Another note is that Day 1 and 2 have little to none custom battlefields in their formations, something that will be slowly presented to the player in days 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Hey whenever you get to the secret part of the undernet, please do something about those damm security pillars. The most irritating thing i found there was finding a security pillar that you had to save before you fought them because if you didn't design a particular chip combo made for fighting that pillar set, you had to reset because it is impossible to run from them and i personally find that really annoying.

It might also be nice if you can lower the chip data requirement to continuing to the extra areas(unless you have plans for making it easier to get data on all the required chips) but that's just my own personal opinion so you can ignore this if you want.

Also, I just got around to downloading v.0.3.0 here (been playing with the testers versions) and I realized you credited me for my image in your post above but it wasn't in the download lol. Just thought I'd point that out.

This version is still up to BubbleMan's scenario, but it features the entirety of the scope modded now! New, polished battle formations! Redesigned Extra Folders! Redesigned battle rewards, treasures, shops! Mostly everything is in its beta phase as of now!
