Arch, I can enter the Chat Room, but as soon as I enter, it displays the "you have been kicked from the chat room" message, and i have no idea why.

It's a bug, it's happened to quite a few people. I suggest clearing your cache, and restarting your browser and see if that helps.

I downloaded a Torrent to download the Humble Indie Bundle V, and it immediately attatched itself to Chrome.
I deleted it after it's job was finished, and removed it from my browser, and poof, gone. I think that was the problem, as I am in the chat currently, and there don't seem to be any complications.

I think browser addons can cause that issue

Sometimes it doesn't work for me, but a refresh or two usually fixes it.

Make sure you're logged in if you're trying to enter chat. The new rules page signs you out for some reason.
