Note: One major change is the effectiveness of equipment defense and magic defense. In previous versions, the defense/magic defense of equipment played far too high a role in enemy damage output. Now, having the best equipment available for purchase or synthesis at the time will reduce the base damage of the enemies you're currently facing by around 1/3. The primary exception to this is Ozma, due to his obscene ability attack power. Enemy strength and magic have been adjusted around this alteration. Another major change is enemy defense/magic defense and the party's weapon/ability attack power. The base defense and magic defense of enemies is now 10. Some enemies have higher or lower defense or magic defense based off their location in the game and physical or magical resistance or weakness. Ability and weapon attack power has been adjusted around this change. The primary purpose of this alteration was to keep more weapons and abilities viable at later points in the game.

Would you describe this patch as almost finished? I've been wanting to play this patch, but I wanted to wait until you were at least almost completely done with the significant changes.

There's still some testing and refining to be done, but other than that it is complete.
So, yes, it is almost finished.

Have any changes been made to trances (the duration, formula for build up, damage boosts, etc)?
Not that It'd be necessary, I suppose I was just curious. Eiko's Double White Magic: Holy made Ozma a bit too easy when I beat him in Vanilla (hilariously using only Jump/Might, 3000 damage Thievery, and that dual 9999 Holy cheapness).

Hi- I'm thinking of doing a Let's Play of this mod (Great job Landon,) but be honest- should I wait until what is considered "1.0" is out or should I go for it now?

Hi, I've been playing disc 4, I have some ideas about the Chaos, they seemed a little easy with the exception of Kraken, at a time when comes to be annoying with Waterga.
- Is there any way that Maliris use Firaga throughout the Group? Thus becomes more complicated the battle.
-Tiamat could use Twister more often, if possible a flying attack, Aerial Slash or Shockwave.
-Lich is made easy using Auto-float. Not is if it will be possible but you may cancel the Auto-float effect only in that battle?

Unfortunately, there is no simple way I’ve found to change the targeting on an enemy ability. That said, I haven’t finished tweaking the enemies in Memoria, and once that is done the elemental fiend fights will be more difficult. However, as those fights were originally intended to be very easy, they still won’t be overly difficult.
On a side note, did you ever find Hades? I haven't had a chance to test him yet, and I am wondering how the fight turned out.

It was just an idea xD. I hope that it gets a little more complicated.
I answer the question about Hades. If I found it. And the fight turns out to be difficult. Killing me two strokes. Cleave 9999 and Curse 8000... I wonder. How will I win?
Test fight against it. I don't know how will be the result. Luck.

I'll probably weaken the super bosses slightly. I did managed to beat Ozma, but it was not a pretty sight.

I'm in the middle of another playthrough to check for glitches and tweak enemies as needed. When I get to disc 4, I'll record and upload a video of Ozma.

OK. I'll wait. To see if you also upload the fight against Hades. One of these days I'll upload a video with Hades and Deathguise. Luck.
