To celebrate the eventual first release of Megaman X2 Hardtype, I thought it'd be fun to take a retread through the hardtype for the first MMX game once again, but on the latest released version.

With that, let's open the festivities with the intro stage, already seeing several changes compared to when I ran it on a very early version way back when.

Since I'm trying to belt out at least one stage a day, here's today video where I head into Storm Eagle's stage to pick up an important upgrade I'll need to have a chance at grabbing the arm & armor upgrades later on.

Today's video has me picking up a vital upgrade in Sting Chameleon's stage and probably collecting the Heart Tank in a bit of a clever way (no idea if this was the intended way).

Today's video picks up the very awesome arm upgrade from Flame Mammoth's stage, allowing me to pull shenanigans with a charged up Chameleon Sting once again.

Also, near death experience! The first of many I'm sure.

Since it was a very easy stage to do, I decided to belt out one last stage for today. Chill Penguin gets taken down in very quick fashion, even if I almost die near the end. That's the good news.

Bad news? Next stage I plan to do is Boomer Kuwanger. Hoo boy, that's going to be a lovely level to do.

Time for the the first level with an Insane rating to be tackled as Boomer Kuwanger gets destroyed. It also involves five second of me saying "OH SHIT!" in my head near the end of the battle.

Also, a return to Flame Mammoth's stage to pick up a couple upgrades and show off one of the other perks of this hack.

Today's video takes a visit to Spark Mandrill's stage where I show off how you can almost throw away a nearly solid fight against said boss due to stupidity. Simple as that.

Just one maverick to go now as today's video deals with a jerk in the ocean that gave me less hell than Boomer Kuwanger did (seriously, this was my 3rd attempt at the stage and the first that reached the boss).

Today's video dives into the second stage of Sigma's Fortress. Three bosses with two of them being refights. One of them I managed to do without taking damage which is always nice. Overall, not as hard or long as the last stage.

Of course, the next stage isn't going to be pretty. Six bosses in total there, oh dear.

My sanity has been broken as I predicted, but Sigma's Fortress 3 has been conquered (with me SOMEHOW managing to pull a win at the D-Rex fight). Only one more stage until this version of the hack is finished!

Also, bonus clip at the end. It's pretty hilarious if you're aware of a glitch regarding a certain boss's attack.
