I'm guessing PPF-O-Matic is unmaintained? Can't say I've made an extensive search, but a quick one didn't yield much of interest. Maybe it needs some modern love...

Seems like something is wrong, shouldn't take that long, regardless of HDD. However, glad you got it sorted out/your game patched!

If you want to replace your own backup off the game with one that we know works, you can download a copy at emuparadise. Not saying it will work better, just something you could try.

It's nice, I like it, but I haven't finished it. I played it together for another person in my former line of work (personal assistance), and stopped as I stopped working there. I would have continued otherwise. Don't have much input elsewise, as it has been a while. :]
