So, you guys have been very patient -- and vocal -- about the issues with the site, and as of today those issues will be fully addressed.

We'd like to go ahead and welcome ninjasdf as our newest Administrator! He's going to be handling most of the site development from here on out. He's not exactly a high profile member of the site, but he's been here a while. Ninja's a pretty cool dude if I do say so myself, and he knows what he's doing to boot.

Let's give him a warm welcome, folks, even though he's been here a while.

Hey, guys! First of all, welcome to the site. I know a lot of you are here just for the forums and mods, but I'd like to turn your attention to the top of the page, if you would. See this button?



It's gonna redirect you to our Discord server. Wanna talk in real time with some like-minded fellows about the mod you're playing? This is the place to do it!
We've got channels for our most popular mods, and a lot of our modders frequent it as well, so if you're looking to have a chat with one of them, this is the place to do it. The voice channels are really great also.

We really don't have a whole lot of rules for the Discord. They're pretty much the same as the site.

I'm just going to quote part of the forum rules on this one, because it's pretty much exactly the same.

These are your moderators. As the above states, a Moderator's word is law in Discord, but with that being said we're generally pretty lenient. If you ever have an issue with a Moderator, you're free to PM an Overlord or myself. We're really not that bad, I promise.

Of course, with rules you must have a way to enforce them, right? Well, here's where our bans come into play. We only ban after warning you multiple times, and a ban always follows a kick. So, if you've been kicked (and it wasn't a joke), that's a pretty good indicator that you're on thin ice, so a repeat offense within a short period may likely mean a ban, either temporarily or permanently.

Below is a list of banned users along with who banned them, and why.

Ban List

• enter a username [Advent] - Being a jackass in #smrpg-a and #development // first offense was a kick, second was a ban
  
• itoikenza [Hart-Hunt] - Being outright toxic in every single conversation he's in
  
• kenmacawili [Advent] - Mac/Azza

If you do find yourself banned, you can always contest it. While you probably did something to deserve it, we want to be fair and provide a level of accountability for both moderators and users of both Insane Difficulty and the Discord.

If you'd like to contest your ban, contact a Moderator or higher of Discord via PM on the site.

So, because I've been looking over a lot of old posts lately, I thought it would be a fun game (particularly for veterans, because if you weren't here around that time, you wouldn't be able to answer anyway) to put old posts -- memorable ones -- through Translation Party and have you guys guess the poster.

I came across a couple of amusing ones yesterday, so I wanted to make a game out of it.

You guys are more than free to post your own, however I don't see this lasting very long tbh.

So, due to the wild popularity of Blizzard's games (namely Hearthstone, Overwatch, and Legion), I thought it might be a good time to make a thread where we could keep everyone's Bnet IDs, just if anyone's interested in playing something together.

Right now I'm mostly on Overwatch and WoW, but I occasionally play some D3/Hearthstone as well.
