Curious though...should I start now or are you planning any changes in the very near future that would require a brand new game to be started (character stat changes, abilities, or whatever would require that)? I'm getting an itching to try this and see how badly I get murdered early on, heh.

As for anyone else that felt like testing this out...feel free to chime in too as one person's opinions may not exactly be the most accurate to go on, especially someone like me who's rather well experienced with hardtype hacks, heh.
With that...made it up to the Stalactite Cave in my first session.
That's about it for that report. If there's anything you want me to go into greater detail about, ask away.

Will probably end up doing a bit of grinding before going into Bledavik. Want to hit lv22 with Fei & Bart (currently lv21 & 20 respectively) and get their first 6 ap deathblows.

Overall it feels like outside of the mech I'm very fragile/mortal up until having a companion (Ellie/Citan). The mech boss battles up until Calamity have been mostly breezy and after reading Anima's post that may be due to luck. I half wish I had maybe run them a few times to see if an issue came up and will be doing so in the future time permitting. But i'm pretty sure I just beat on the dino/lizard with x attacks (I don't even remember using combos) and with the worm one regular attack into ether blasts.
Have not run into any bugs yet that I know of. I've been trying to be vigilant about talking to every npc every chance I get and making sure the game doesn't go all wonky on something trivial like that. Is there anything in specific you are worried about or you want anyone testing to keep an eye out for in particular?
Edited for Success! Ok so beat Calamity after 4/5 resets, grinding to get barts deathblows and then another 2/3 resets. Having that extra bit of damage helps a ton, but it still came down to how many times he used his missles/how much he hit/missed/blocked with physical. Fei survived with 2 hp. Bart was KO'd. I feel so far that this battle really needs to be looked at the most. Even with the best gear and T1 combos on both characters it took a combination of luck/rng and some charging to gain back fuel to kill him using the same pattern that Anima described.

Level update...Fei 24, Bart 23, Citan 22. Outside of Bledavik currently. All have their 4-6 ap deathblows mastered. The last three 6 ap deathblows for each characters are obviously not available until higher levels, but I've always deathblow grinded at this point anyways so I'm set for at least those three until Shevat.
