Update, just finished Desert Palace.
There's a difficulty spike all around, from way-too-easy Disc 2 to a more decent difficulty so far. The Alexandria defense was still chapter 2 difficulty. The Mistodons didn't seem to have enhanced AI or stats. Steiner with the usual Coral Sword, Thunder Gloves, MP attack combo wrecked house. I could 1 shot them that way. So far for poor Beatrix, defending and curing. May I suggest increasing the stats for the Mistodons? And making them half thunder?
Tantarian was fun. The peak of the mod so far. It was difficult, a bit chaotic, erratic at times, and it requires strategy. Very well executed.
Oeilvert is the point where the difficulty gets that spike I was talking about. The encounters are a bit more threatening here, except for the most common one which is the tomb, who dies with a soft. Since that encounter is the most common one, it breaks the dungeon in half. Also to mention, right before Oeilvert is the point where you have full access to the world map and with it, the Chocobo sidequest (only except the flying chocobo, which only unlocks Ozma and 4 more Chocographs). This means that I got severely overpowered. The most important change I got was better weapons, and some cool abilities.
Ark was just Ark. He's a pain in vanilla, and he didn't change much in here (or maybe I remember him from Unleashed). Fun fight as well.
The Desert Palace's high points are the random encounters by far. It really felt like a dungeon that tried to challenge me in general, until I got to the Moogle. The boss I guess is supposed to be easy after you take all of the Bloodstones, but it still tried to threaten me, which was nice.
Overall, the first half of so of Disc 3 has left me with a very sweet taste in my mouth. This difficulty right from the start and more AI changes like we talked earlier would make this a beast mod. Can't wait to play the rest of it now.

Just to said I make a little pause for advance my Blind LP of Phantasy Star and my LP of Brave New World but I've I will continue now.
So as for Tantarian at CD2 I try just to see it, unfortunately just like I thought since I didn't planned to beat him I have close to nothing in terms of healing items (phenix down especially) so I can't survive long enough to do it and I can't buy Phenix down until I beat Pile and Face (French names, I don't remember their english names) and after I beat them I can't face Tantarian anymore so I will do it during Disk 3.
I didn't record Pile and Face because the fight was just to easy and not interesting basically all you have to do is attack one of them with Steiner (with the Tueur ability (don't remember the english name it's the ability that increase damage against human) and Ice Brand he deals nearly 900-1000 damage), Zidane (same as Steiner but he also has MP Attack) and Freyja (Ryuken is fairly strong) while Vivi prevents them from attacking by casting a spell on both of them (doesn't matter which one).
The last fight with Beatrix was cool tough didn't expect her to use Stock Break which make the fight more interesting than just survive by throwing Phenix Downs when somebody die (tough I was lucky and she didn't use stock break in the attempt I post on youtube).

Update just, I've nearly complete Disc 2
As for the changes :
-I like Zidane's new abilities the one that Increase it's strength is usefull, the one that throw an Ether on every party member was welcome when during my stealing fight against Soulcage (since Shockwave now reduce MP).
-I wonder why having remove Bio from the Cahène (French name don't remember the English one sorry) it wasn't of an issue but I'm just wondering
As for the bosses :
-Lamie wasn't hard (just her Water spell was strong without Protection) however the monster that follow us just before was annoying since he start with Hades LV4 and 3 of my party member were at a LV multiple of 4, but was easy dodge anyway.
-Have one surprise Game Over on Gargantua (french name) because every time I strike him he was getting a Bonus Turn and at one point I attack with 3 of my party member making him attack 4 times in a row and he wipes me with 3 earthquakes, but once I realise that he wasn't hard just a little long because I play it safe, also Fenril was desappointing doing only 700-800 damage (while being Wind base now) while Vivi (with 3 Focus) and Zidane were doing nearly 1,5k
-Now Soulcage my stealing fight with him I had to fight him with only Zidane, Garnet and Eiko because Vivi get zombified in the fight just and I didn't get the chance to steal a Magic Tag so while Stealing I had to kill Vivi for healing with Cura, but the fight wasn't hard and Zidane proves himself usefull by doing over 1k per attack (around 3,5k with Solution 9 in Trance) and good for healing MP of Everyone, while Eiko and Dagger were healers.
But in the normal fight Vivi completly rekt him by using Carbuncle to put Reflect on everybody and Reflecting Blizzara of everyone he was doing over 3,6k which along with one or 2 attacks with Zidane completly destroy him. So easy fight.

Ayyy yo, Tirlitits.
Just kiddin'. I'm sorry, Tirlititi. Love what you're doing, especially since this is my favorite game ever.
Anyway, doing a little something here, I haven't progressed as much as these guys here (admittedly, I started last night), but will keep on advancing.

Having lots of fun so far. Great job!

I personnaly just beat the "You're Not Alone" sequence so I'll post my progress :
-Ark is easy but can fucked up the fight if he puts confuse on everybody (only Freyja is immune to it), fortunatly I had one chocographto pick up on Oeilvert's continent and it was a Claw for Tarask... that has 75 Attack Power.... and was wind elemental (talk about luck) so Yeah Tarask in Berserk (thanks Freyja) and after Armor Break (thanks Steiner) deal 9999 damage so get reckt Ark and never come back.
-Obelisk (French name) was a surprise this fight was fun, few new tricks in his sleeve didn't excpect Flare or Holy and Curse was a bitch.
-The boss at Mont Goulg wasn't bad, I don't remember him very well in Vanilla but I don't think it was very different from Vanilla.
-Ypsen's castle was fun the boss was easy Mental Break + Carbuncle + Reflected Firaga for 9999 damage deal with it bitch ^^.
-Now the Earth Gardian was actually a fun fight I notice you've improved his IA he seems that he never use Shacker when Djidane and Kweena are absorbing Earth or if they have Auto-Float, and putting Auto-Reflect and make him reflect his spells for attack us a nice way to make Auto-Reflect useless in this fight (otherwise this would be pathetically easy), I managed to eat him with Kweena.
-And the You're Not Alone you honestly got me here I was expecting having a very hard time with the third fight considering my Garnet was very underlevel (I don't use her she is the less usefull character in the game for me), but surprinsigly I was completly wrong the first and third fights were very easy (I solo the third with Zidane no prob) but OH Boy the second fight with Steiner and Kweena was suprisingly challenging, Auto-Protect makes Steiner's attack weak, Kweena is inconsistent in her damage with Twister, he hits hard and has an attack that can put Doom on the entire party (that is sadistic), Mighty Gard was really usefull her, the only way I had to deal good and consistent Damage is using Zidane's Great Lethal.
So now I will go in Pandemonium I'm kind of worried about the boss rush at the end but we will see.

Continuing I complete Disc 3 and the Chocobo Quest and I'm going through Memoria right so as for the bosses :
-The Boss at the end of Disc 3 wasn't as bad as I excpected, Silverdragon was very easy, Garland was fairly easy and Kuja outside of Ankylose (don't know English Name) which is really cheap (reducing the Max HP of one character to 1 that was cheap) wasn't to bad Flare Star was strong but not very accurate and Thunderbolt wasn't very strong.
-Merilith was honestly disappointing as long as you have Fire and Heat protection this fight has no threat at all.
-Tiamat was fun he caught me off guard with his attack that can put Heat on the all team but I manage to beat him first try.
-And then there is Hades and HOLY SHIT I definitly didn't see that coming, hardest and best boss fight of the mod so far, it actually took me some times to understand how this fight works. First of all this guy is freaking fast seriously all my character have Auto-Haste and I could barely keep up with him and he also has a lot of Evasion (Steiner just kept missing him), Double Tranchant (french name) hits like a truck, Judgment Sword hits hard to and puts doom, and when he goes away and steal your items before casting an attack with nasty statuts effect or casting Doomsday, Worshester, Tétanie and Reflect are the only "nice" action of this guy. This fight was hard but very fun honestly and a clever good idea, I'm now interest to see Ozma.
Tough my characters were maybe underlevel (around LV40, 46 for Zidane) but it makes my won even more satisfied.

I see the PC version has no x86 folder. Does this mean this is only for the 32-bit version?
