Site and forum acting weird

In Firefox it works alot better, but it's noticable IE's not just the culprit, as scrolling looks kinda blocky, as if the browser's having trouble with it. Especially noticable when scrolling using the sidebar-thingie or clicking the scroll button and then moving the mouse. It seems like it's really the site, but Firefox just handles it alot better than IE does.
I don't know if this is happening because it was recently changed, but I decided to just report it ASAP just in case. This seemed like the best place in the forum.

This skin we're using is very taxing to most browsers, so yes, your browser is having trouble with it.
The people who made the skin are aware of the issue and plan to release an update, but until then it's this or find a new skin.
I'll probably end up making a custom skin for it eventually, or something lighter.

Yeah, I had a quick look over the CSS. It seems a tad excessive. Will you have the option for multiple skins? If so, I would very much like to design a skin myself.
Also, the latest FireFox beta seems to have no problems with it.

I have to try the newest Firefox then!
And if you design a skin, that would be

now it stays up top
See if that helps with your lag?

Holy shit! Darthatron is right!
The new firefox beta absolutely murders this. ZERO scroll lag! I suggest everyone download it, it's blazingly fast

Maybe I'll try the new FF, but as for now I keep this FF. Despite not working at full speed it still works OK for this site, and for everything else I use IE anyway.

The only reasonable fix would be to have multiple skins for different internets/PS's.
This would include Low Quality, medium quality, high quality, and can be selected in the little selector box that was here when the new forum started.
EDIT:
The Firefox beta (4) is sick, and cancels all lag. But even my Google chrome doesn't lag at all. Plus, you are using internet explorer, which is shit. If you have a low end gaming computer, you probably have the space to upgrade to a new browser.

Nah, I hate FF. It's not built for effective browsing. People say it's faster, but except for this site, IE is as fast as FF (heck, can something go faster than instantly?). Its only saving grace is the well-working ad blocker, but I gladly give that up for a browser that has everything on the right place. And don't even get me started on Chrome

I have all 3 browsers on their latest versions and can honestly tell you this new FF beta trumps them for the sites I visit (youtube, fb, company websites, this site, gaming sites, etc)

And no offense, but you created a topic on how the forum lagged on IE 9, and your telling me that it is faster than chrome and firefox? :\

I got rid of a bunch of repeating transparency backrounds we didn't really need
see if it helps you?

when using the FF, it's a matter of how big(is big the right word?) is your RAM, if u have 2 GB RAM, it's fast, I've tried it^^
And it's faster if you don't save your passwords, don't use a dictionary and so on.
I like the Safari, it's fast enough, even on my good old,(broken) PC.
I'm not so good in english

Also, purely esthetic, but it feels like there's too much crap going on with the calender, the links to the New Media, and all the links at the top. Would you, if enough people don't mind, move all that stuff to the main page of your site, and make the forum all the forum and nothing but forum; and possibly make an option to ignore all the "like on facebook" stuff?

TBH, I'm comfortable with how the site is now.

I would like to migrate to FF (just for this forum BTW) but I have chrome customized for everything I need and going to FF would just be time that I could have spent on FFT
We'll see how long I can hold out for...
