I've been at this mod for a couple of days now and I absolutely love it. However, I'm wondering if there's documentation of item locations/stats/things like that anywhere. I might be stupid, but I'm at North Corel right now and so far most of my characters are using their default weapons from the beginning of the game, and my basic attacks are kind of under-performing (except Tifa who hits like a truck after Sense), so I get the feeling I might have missed something.
Other misc questions:
After characters hit level 21 there's a massive increase in exp required for next level (more than the total exp required to get to level 21). I got Cloud to 21 right after Kalm, and he still hasn't leveled up yet. I'm pretty sure this is intended, but why?
Is it really important to morph and steal a lot from random encounters in this mod? I haven't been using them that much and it might be why I haven't gotten new weapons yet.
Lastly what are the conditions for learning new limit breaks? Everyone learned their 2nd level 1 limit pretty fast but there hasn't been anything past that.

Hi bud,
There is a database of items/locations on the main download thread here on this sub-forum, but it's slightly out of date at the moment. It might be handy for locating the majority of things though. As far as weapons go, the initial ones tend to have slightly better attack power but no stat boost/less materia slots. This changes going past Cosmo Canyon; that's when weapons with higher attack + stat boosts become available.
Every ten levels (11, 21, 31, etc.) is a 'hard cap' to reach the next level. This is a kink in the EXP arcs I used but they proved to be extremely useful in helping me spec each area to predict where players are going to be, level-wise. Bosses tend to give good chunks of EXP to help get past these caps so I'd encourage moving forward rather than trying to grind past them.
You don't have to use Steal or Morph at all; enemies/bosses tend to have natural drops and most of it will be available later in any case, either from chests or shops. They can be useful if you need an extra edge though; one thing though, getting end-game weapons like Ragnarok or Ultimate Weapons requires Morph to be used so fair warning on that.
The Limit conditions are unchanged; you unlock the 2nd one in each Level by using the 1st one repeatedly, and you unlock a new Limit level by killing enemies with that character (doesn't need to be with the Limit Break, any attack will do). If you want to grind out the next Limit level, then I'd recommend North Corel's Search Crowns. Using fire spells/Fire+Elemental in a weapon's materia slots should let you clear them out for kills quickly.

Oh, alright, thanks for the info. I checked through the main download thread for the items database but I must've missed it. Anyway, still really enjoying this mod and all the hard work that went into it. You can really how much care and dedication went into it as you play.

Having the changes to limit breaks would be nice in the new Database, since atm am not sure what i get when using a LB.

Was wondering where was the Heaven's Cloud. The xml says it's on Viariablis but I've killed him 3 or 4 times already and got only armlets.
