We are proud to announce the release of Brave New World 1.6.0, the primary feature of which is a new hack that disassociates esper gains from traditional levels. This means that it's no longer advantageous to keep your levels low before espers are obtained and you don't really screw yourself by grabbing a few extra levels early on.
As has been mentioned before (on several occasions, but we actually mean it this time), this is intended to be the mod's final release, barring any bugfix updates, until 2.0, which will be a significant change and is a long ways off. For now, Synchysi and I would like take take a little break and wish to thank everyone of the Insane Difficulty community for their help, love, support, and occasional favors of a sensual nature.

If we've been running a playthrough with the 1.6(.2?) beta, is it safe to upgrade to the 1.6 release, or will it do all kinds of wonky things to our saved game?
Thanks!
Thanks!

1984 by George Orwell and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley are both great books about the future. I you havent already read them, you need to do so. If you have read them, which did you like better, 1984 or Brave New World?
