Insane Difficulty: Denial of Service

Last week, I'm sure you noticed that the site was going up and down constantly for no good reason. It appears that the server that Insane Difficulty is hosted on was targeted by a denial of service attack. The following is the info I received from our host.


There was route based DDOS attack which was resolved, You can find more info on our resolved network thread :

7:42am PST - There is a known network issue that is datacenter (Dallas) wide that we are working on with our techs, we are working expeditiously to resolve this issue. Stay tuned for further updates
8:55am PST - We have found that only certain servers are being affected, we are working hard with our network providers and datacenter techs to resolve this, thank you for your patiance.
9:43am PST - The issue has been resolved, and all servers are showing back up.
