  1. Is it possible to undo the shortening of Gau's rage list, and if so, how? I know that ROM hacking is possible, but I can't seem to find what values / addresses I need to edit and whether or not I need to edit the .ips patch file or the ROM itself. If anyone here can inform me on the matter, it would be greatly appreciated, though I understand if you aren't able to or simply don't want to / have time to do so. P.S. - Yes, you are reading this correctly. I do indeed intend to reexpand the list, because I liked having more options in vanilla, and besides, I could just edit some of the enemies to have better rages either way, so duplicity and/or redundancy wouldn't be an issue.
  2. Just something I've had lying around for a long while, and finally decided to clean up and release. Something for you lazy Gau lovers out there. This patch has pretty much equal functionality as Think's Learnable Rage patch, with the exception that you still actually have to Leap Gau to learn Rages. The kicker is that you can do so anywhere, and Gau will be right back in your party after you win the battle. You will still only be able to Leap enemy formations that actually appear on the Veldt, but you no longer have to hike all the way out there to do so. Consider it a middle ground between Think's patch and vanilla BNW behavior, although it's still cheating, since you're getting Rages early. You cheater, you! Get it here! Headered and nonheadered patches are included. See the documentation (leap-anywhere.txt) for version A/B differences. Should work with both 1.8.5 and 1.8.6 pre-beta. Let me know if it breaks the universe or something. Non-obligatory but still well deserved plugs: Rage Reference Sheet by @Nowea Learnable Rage by @Think0028
  3. I love Gau. He is great fun to use and his Rages bring a lot of options to the table. However, players often find it easier to stick with a few core rages and just use them because... well... details for 64 Rages is a lot to remember. The printme has all the info the player needs to know everything about all the Rages but the info is spread across multiple tables and tabs.So I've decided to do something to remedy it. I've taken the information from the printme, along with some information regarding some locations of the formations, and put it all in one single table. In addition, I've included a column where you can mark the Rages as collected or not and also sorted the Rages by attainability. These can be used to narrow down selections to only those available or help with making sure you have the ones you want.I hope that players can use this to make Gau just a little bit more accessible by reducing the information barrier that the Rages have.Anyway... I like spreadsheets. Here it is. Enjoy and happy Raging Edit: Updated to 1.9.0
