OK, hats off to BTB and the crew. This is the most fun I've had with a jRPG ever, and I've put 250 hours into Fire Emblem 3 Houses. The balance is superb and I LOVE how getting a single piece of equip makes new builds possible. Also how there's a little "tuning" to make apparently weaker characters more useful (like Relm's spell selection is so-so but the Monet brush gives her a little more utility) Ya'll who worked on this are legitimate game designers and craftspeople who deserve accolades. A few quick Q's for 2.0: (I'm doing the Fanatic's Tower now in WoR and I think I've done everywhere else) 1. Where is the item to enable Shock for Celes? 2. Where are Setzer's Loaded Dice? I only have 3 casino weapons for him and TBH they seem pretty underpowered. I really like using him in combat because I think the idea of random damage is kind of fun, but my reflexes SUCK for Slots (I am old) 3. Which Rages/Blitzes/Tools are affected by back row restrictions? I have the feeling say, Pummel is, but Aurabolt is not? I read the README and it says in general any direct attack or "one on one" has a damage reduc, but I'm not sure where the line is drawn. 4. I feel like I only have 4 characters at level 30-33 after Fanatic's Tower, and the dragons wipe the floor with me. Am I missing content or is there somewhere to go to get up to lv 40? 5. I feel spells like Sap, Rasp, Raze, etc don't really "do much" in the big scheme of things. I guess some of them work on bosses but the damage is small beans. 6. Same for "Stop" or "Mute". They don't work on bosses and they don't help with crowd control, and the turn I spend casting it could be used to do damage instead and kill the offending party. Am I missing the point? 7. It would be nice to have 1 more base element in Lores/Rages (Fire/Ice/Bolt) but I guess that's covered by others. 8. Illuminos is awesome and a lot of fun. Celes is my valkyrie revenge goddess. 9. Uh, are "Ice" and "Water" the same element? I'm pedantic. Also, I kind of love that the Fanatic's Tower requires a radically different approach because weapons don't hit and MDEF is all that matters (without black belt) or there's consequences to them. I wish more was like that!
