Gomez, how in the heck did you get the chest at the front of Lands End above the three wolves?

Jump into the hole where they came from using the cannon, (the thing you do to progress, basically) then jump out of the hole and stand right in front of it. Now jump. A yellow platform will spawn and you can once again use the cannon to get onto this platform.

This fight took a loong time to do, it is extremely difficult. But with this video I discussed my specific strategy in detail, so hopefully this will help the people that have been trying to beat this boss for a while in the forums. To summarize my strategy really quickly, I make it so that Rosalina NEVER gets a turn by herself, meaning the only thing she can do is that holy attack and her Galaxy Beam attack. Since Rosalina can't do any other attack with the lumas present, and Morning Star only does Damage to 3 lumas, that sets me up perfectly for this strategy. Everything else is explained in the video. Doing this in hard mode is gonna be an absolute nightmare, but im ready for the challenge I guess....

    Spoiler

While I do find it very impressive, I still prefer this one by Doomsday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAbuG01S6Xg

So sorry for my lack of description on the title, but I really am bad with these things. I have a few questions regarding the game.

    1. While i'm currently playing the content version, is the true version massively more difficult? I want to give it a go but dont wanna waste my time.

    2. As far as damage goes, do any weapons scale with Magic Attack, or is it all just Attack scaled?

    3. Does the endgame have a flag that is triggered by beating Smithy, or can I start it after I enter The Factory?

I actually have a few more questions, but instead of inundating you with them I'll just edit this post or reply to it, if that's okay to do here.

I can give an answer to questions 1 and 3.

    1. Normal mode is the "standard" difficulty and is challenging but still fair. You should definitely give it a shot after you've finished content mode. Then there's also hard mode which will come out soon. (and doom edition but that's not too relevant right now)

    2. I'm not familiar with those things so I can't answer, sorry.

    3. Postgame content is unlocked after beating Smithy.

    Hi again!

In my adventures during the palace of shadows, i fought with a dark amazye and she give me a shiny flower. After this, i went to the mushroom kingdom to talk with daisy and she told me about a person who probably takes this item. I travel (again) around the game and talk many people, but i can't found this person. How can i use the shiny flower?

You can talk to Rosalina who will upgrade your total FP to 99.

That is assuming you don't already have 99 FP, in which case the shiny flower is completely useless.

Hi! (Sorry if my english sucks, because i speak spanish)

My question is... Where am i find de masterball? I travel all the game and talk with every people, but nobody's send me the masterball to search Celebi. Somebody can tell me?

After finding all hidden chests, talk to the guy in Monstro Town who tells you how many chests you have left. He will give you 3 things, one of which is a Master Ball.

Another way is to be lucky and get one from Yoshi.

Appreciate the response! Yeah i'm pretty sure i've gotten all of those. Frogfucius is directing me only towards the boss rush at this point it seems as well. And uh, I thought I was playing normal? When I first downloaded the ips it said (normal) inside of it. I'm not sure if this is what actually happened why you made that assumption but i'm gonna take a guess at this...

A little bit before I found some of the 'two turns per turn' items I was trying to do some research and thought maybe content mode was some kind of mode where you get everything or something (like a cheat mode, i'm noob) lol. I now have 2 entirely separate folders titled 'snes' and 'snes2'. The snes2 is where I downloaded the content mod version and tried it in the other folder. Despite the emulators being in entirely separate directories upon returning to my 'normal' savefile (the folder titled 'snes') the color changed of the menu files. I'm pretty sure that my menu's were originally blue. And now its green lol. I could be wrong though again i'm noob :P

You're playing content mode without a doubt. Otherwise you wouldn't have the accessory of Mario or Bowser.

Does nailing the timing affects the duration of the debuff or it's just to deal more damage? Also, how many turns does the debuff lasts on each difficulty?

It only deals more damage when timed and last 3 turns in content and normal mode unless dispelled somehow.

I have spoken with him lol. I am looking for fairies, which are "in the forest maze" and A powerful monster in the sewers that is "Hard to reach". Unfortunately, that isn't any help. I guess i'll just use Youtube videos. Thank you guys for the help. I have fought Blue, Yellow, and Red Tonberries. Are there any more?

Maybe I should ask what characters are the best to use for post game play. I am using Mario, Peach and Bowser. Bowser is insanely powerful and Peach is a great healer, plus does good damage with the frying pan, and Mario is all around balanced. Should I be using a different tactic?

You'll find the fairy in the forest in the hidden place in the maze section.

At the end of kero sewers there is an out of reach pipe, jump on a boo to reach it.

There are also normal tonberries and the holy tonberrries. Normal ones can be found through the hole at the top of the mountain in moleville, and the holy ones can be found by walking behind the right star at the beginning of star hill.

Any team is a good team, it's up to you to choose what tactics suits you best.

    Hello,

I have beaten Smithy and I am working on some post game stuff, but I die constantly. All of my characters are level 100, and I have what I can only assume is the best equipment that I can currently get. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do first after beating Smithy? I beat the Anti Shy guys and captured one pokemon. The Final Fantasy characters destroy me. I have no idea where to go from her.

    Thanks

Hunt for tonberries then talk to pepe.

So, it's been a while since I've played this game and I was wondering, has this fight been rebalanced yet? It did seem impossible in Normal Mode.

That WAS the rebalanced fight. Someone (definitely not me :$) said the fight was a total joke in the initial release of normal mode, so it was buffed.

It's been a while since I've played this mod and I've fotgotten where this item is. Any help please?

It's been renamed Lucky Ring and now doubles both exp and coins. It can be found in a hidden chest on Star Hill or dropped by Cactuars in Land's End.

hello~! I played SMRPG:A v.8 a couple years ago....i think i downloaded it off of Insane Difficulty...Anyway, I decided to go looking into the game again and saw V9 here. I just downloaded the content mode version i believe, but i;m wondering what the difference is between Content Mode and the regular v9?

P.S. was the hidden chest in Mushroom Kingdom (above the doorway heading to the Chancellor's room) removed?

Content mode is a lot easier than normal mode. I strongly recommend playing through normal mode.

And yes, that chest in the Mushroom Kingdom was indeed moved.
