You can just say it here. I'll discuss it with DK if it's an issue.

You can find the lake guardians in the forest maze ("treasure" stump), tadpole pond (east), and bandit's way (at the very end). I don't remember which is which, though.
For Latias and Latios, they work on the same counter as Celebi. However, they appear every 30 instead of just on 255. Also, you can find them in a variety of places, including Rose Way.

5 minutes ago, Darkcelestrian said:Galaxy shell= After completing the whole boss rush which is like one of the last things you'll do in the hack. I was assuming this was like sometime early around like getting the dragon armors/ dragon armor+'s and working your way up from there. Thinking at that point mario would have at the best luigi's hammer or galaxy hammer, maybe ultima hammer. Magistral ring I'll buy since chac is not hard to beat at that point, but is mario's ultra flame strong enough to accomplish a runaway at that point in the game?
You get a magistral ring in Nimbus Land, don't you?
I don't know if at that point Mario's Ultra Flame is enough alone, which is why I said Ultra Flame + Ultima.

Who said anything about waiting that long? I just said it could be done, not that it was worthwhile.
The point is that you don't need to farm any special items or do anything fancy... you just need to be buffed and use powerful (preferably fire) spells.

Don't know exactly what you need, but post Galaxy shell should do it.
-
3 minutes ago, Darkcelestrian said:Ok. A good idea if you have so that much time to farm stuff over and over.
A single turn using?
Bowser w/ Troopa Pin uses an Ultra Shroom Shake, Peach uses Ultima, and Mario uses Ultra Flame.
If you're strong enough, you can probably just give Mario the Magistral Ring and have him use Ultra Flame to trigger the run away.

You don't have to do a lot of things. But it's a good idea.
If you do it right, you can knock out an Amazy Dayzee in a single turn.

9 minutes ago, Darkcelestrian said:You can buff your damage or use hm guards to prevent status if you really want to use something other than poison shrooms that's why I said buffs are optional
A poison shroom doesn't cause fear. You'll need to buff yourself in addition to it.
-
Again, fearing the opponent is the same thing as buffing yourself. They don't stack.
-
Right, I'm saying if you don't use a chaos grenade (they're a pain to farm after all), you'll need to get your buffs elsewhere.
-
35 minutes ago, Darkcelestrian said:NOTE!: Buffing your defense does not reduce golden flowers damage which is why I say ultra shrooms/ultra s.shakes are optional.
This isn't quite correct. You do need the buff from somewhere. Note that using a chaos grenade causes the fear status, which has the same effect as being buffed.
Also, don't attack the flower until the poison has worn off, or you'll be dealing about half damage.
-
Deal more than 9999 at once, of course
In case you're not aware, the cap for displaying damage is 9999, but you can deal much more with certain attacks.

To answer your question: no, I don't know of a good resource for Lazy Shell. The program itself hasn't been updated in a long time, so there isn't any active forum related to it that I know of.
Also, if you want to learn about coding, Lazy Shell is not the way to start. Might I recommend C++ instead?

So, I don't know how you managed it, but your save data appears to be corrupted. The spring and save box are supposed to be NPCs that permanently exist in the area, so the only reason for them to be missing is because they've been "removed" at some point somehow. Like I said, I've never heard of this happening here before, so I have no idea what would have caused it.
Your best bet at this point is to delete your existing save states and save data and start over from the beginning. I know that's not the answer you want to hear, but I don't see another option...
-
Impressive that you've made it to that point in hard mode!
I have no idea what the problem you're having is. You got that patch for here and applied it to the US rom, right?
-
This is with v8 content mode, right? And you got the patch from the download section of this site?
-
There's only one other thing I can think of...
Did you switch between the easy and hard mode?
-
Not familiar with that one. It looks like the objects didn't load (you're supposed to land on a spring there).
What emulator are you using? You should be using SNES9x 1.53+.

Normal Tonberries have a 25% drop rate for tonberry dolls (regardless of item collector), but only if you have inventory space.
You can find the lake guardians in the forest maze ("treasure" stump), tadpole pond (east), and bandit's way (at the very end). I don't remember which is which, though.

There have been several closed alphas/betas leading up to v9 (originally v8.5). There are no plans to provide public links for them.
I know it's been a long time and everyone really wants to get their hands on the new version, but I ask that you wait just a little longer. Darkkefka is is very close to having the content version of v9 finished (hard mode will be later).

I improved a bunch of the routing from the previous Dark Star route, did things significantly faster, and managed to get a time of 3:03:57! Check it out:
*Including credits, which adds about 11 and a half minutes in vanilla.
-
Nope. If you want to look at level ups and such, you'll have to use a hex editor.
-
No, this is completely unrelated to version 9.
Follow the instructions in the download section.

There's no rules to speak of (it's Any%). Wolfblade and I run this on the SNES classic, but if varying emulators become an issue, we can figure it out later.Timing starts when you select DONE for name select and ends when the black border appears after Smithy explodes.
Specific rules (like emulator use) can be found here: https://www.speedrun.com/smrpg_armageddon

I was wondering when you mentioned Booster's Tower if you were referring to the bob-ombs...
You can do that with any number of enemies in a variety of places, although the bob-ombs self destructing does help. I'll mention it to DK, but I don't think it's an issue.
Basically, you can level as much as you want (up to 100 of course) if you're really having trouble with something. This is on purpose, and easy and hard mode of v9 will work similarly. The only way to prevent the player from doing some variation of what you did would be to somehow cap the player's level in each area.
Does that explanation make sense?
